Do you have any ideas for your holiday? Here are our proposals!
Our B&B is located in Piedmont, a land rich in unique beauties that offers suggestive naturalistic, cultural and spiritual itineraries, some of which are recognized as UNESCO heritage. Art and culture are flanked by the riches of the food and wine tradition, which boasts excellence recognized worldwide.
Il Martinetto is located in a green area called Valtriversa, surrounded by the hills of Monferrato. The place is full of naturalistic and historical paths that can be done either on foot or on a mountain bike.
Starting from the same municipality of Cantarana, whose church, with its high bell tower, has a history that dates back to 1695 and which also involves the famous baroque architect Filippo Juvarra.
We are a few kilometers from Castelnuovo Don Bosco and Asti, half an hour from the city of Turin and from Alba and its Langhe. Around our hills it is easy to admire the beautiful churches of Romanesque art such as that of San Secondo di Mongiglietto.
We are available to our guests to recommend the best tourist route based on the specific needs of each. Be-low you can read a brief description of some beautiful cities and attractions that you can visit near us.
THE TERRITORY
Asti: culture and wine-and-food
Asti is a city where we find history in every architectural element. In the center there are, in fact, medieval buildings and sumptuous eighteenth-century palaces. The unmissable are: the Crypt of Sant’Anastasio, the beautiful Cathedral, Palazzo Mazzetti, the usual setting for temporary art exhibitions of international interest. The best time to visit the city is September, the month of the Palio di Asti, the Astigiane Festivals and the Douja. It is one of the queens of Piedmontese wine-and-food and the homeland of Spumante and Barbera.

THE TERRITORY
Turin Lively and Elegant
Lively and elegant, always on the move, Turin is a city of a thousand faces surrounded by greenery: gently leaning against the hills and cradled by the course of the Po. Its charm derives from the wonderful geographical position at the foot of the Alps that surround it in a snowy crown. First capital of Italy rich in ancient and modern history to discover: palaces, museums, parks and tree-lined avenues, the river and the hills, the historic restaurants and cafes, the long arcaded streets and multi-ethnic neighborhoods. Industrial centre and venue for major events, in balance between Roman urban planning, the splendor of Piedmontese Baroque and the originality of modern and contemporary architecture.

A cultural landscape that UNESCO recognized as a World Heritage Site in 2014.

Monferrato: discovery and welcome
Monferrato is a mainly hilly area, between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria. It extends southwards starting from the hydrographic right of the Po until reaching the feet of the Ligurian Apennines. It borders with other geographical and historical regions of Piedmont belonging to the province of Cuneo, namely the Langhe and Roero, and to the north-east with the Province of Pavia. Monferrato offers unforgettable landscape views accompanied by an excellent wine-and-food tradition. Ideal for combining culture, nature and good food.
